Growing up in Taiwan, my childhood was filled with manga from Japan. To become a manga-ka, or graphic novel artist, has always been my dream/goal, and so whenever I have time, I would work on story development. Currently, I am working with these projects:

This story was half inspired by the Lord of the Rings. Having worked on this one for almost 10 years, I was never satisfied with the story. Until the last two semesters of my senior year, with the help of my sequentail art professor, I gave this story a brand new look with the same old soul.

The earliest rough version of R.O.T. was done in 1998, which was a sketch of twelve characters each representing a month in the year. Much more thought was put into this story during my highschool years. I really like this story becasue of its theme and setting. It's quite difficult to explain this story in English, since it takes place in a fictional place similar to the culture of ancient China. However, I am currently working on the English version, just so I can share this story with more people.

This project is the oldest out of ALL my original stories. I've always loved Greek mythology, ever since elementary school. MYth is not a complete epic story like my other two, it's more like a collection of many short stories. Currently I have finished 3 stories for this project. One being MOONLESS (images below are some sample pages), which was first created back in fifth grade. I made it into a pop-up book for my art class. I never expected that I would end up doing a re-make and getting two awards from Tokyopop with it. The other story is MY SEASONS, a short romance/drama about Hades and Persephone. ETERNAL GIFT, a short story about Poseidon and his queen Amphitrite. And the latest one in MYth is A Promise, story before the olympians and my take on how Zeus became God of Heaven.

Magic Academy: Department of Anger Management. This story was created based on this weird/random dream that I had. I worked with this story for my animation classes at CSUF, and you can see the result here:    POTION OF RED

Although I am done with the animation classes, I decided to continue develop the story and its characters in graphic novel form. The story is about a girl named Red, who had anger management problems and was trying to find herself a true love. Red is a student of Magic Academy, and the school requires each student to find a partner in magic training within the first 2 years. This partner can either be your best friend, your sibling, or your true love. Red is famous at school for her awful personality, and naturally, she is having problems finding a partner.
